============================

So what is "Translit"?  It's very simple, in our case translit (short from transliteration) is a way to write russian letters using standart letters of english alphabet.  You don't need to do or know anything extra to use transliteration. Just find letters that sound familiar to russian. For example "apple" in russian you would write as "yabloko".  See how simple it is? :)  If there's no letter in English aplhabet that sounds like russian, substitute it with two or three. For example: Sh, Ch, ya, ye.  Everybody uses translit in their own way. There's more than one way to write russian letter . You can write Zh or J, it's up to you, most like you wil be understood. It does take some practice to learn reading translit text, but after coupe of days you will be able to read it quickly, your mind just have to get used to it.   Vse ponyatno?
