About "Translit"

So what is "Translit"? It's very simple, in our
case translit (short from transliteration) is a way to write russian letters
using standart letters of english alphabet. You don't need to do or know anything
extra to use transliteration. Just find letters that sound familiar to russian.
For example "apple" in russian you would write as "yabloko".
See how simple it is? :) If there's no letter in English aplhabet that
sounds like russian, substitute it with two or three. For example: Sh, Ch, ya,
ye. Everybody uses translit in their own way. There's more than one way to
write russian letter
. You can write
Zh or J, it's up to you, most like you wil be understood. It does take some
practice to learn reading translit text, but after coupe of days you will be
able to read it quickly, your mind just have to get used to it. Vse
ponyatno?
